bear-branch-lodge.jpg On February 6-10, Townly hosted 40 of the nation's top field dogs for a competition: Alabama's first Orvis Certified Wingshooting Lodge.

Bear Branch Lodge hosted the event--one of the premier retriever sporting events in the country. Forty dogs from all across the U.S. competed in hunting scenerios for honor and cash prizes. The Walker County Chamber of Commerce has helped with the event.
