Vulcan's 104th Birthday Bash
Birmingham; June 1
During this festive outdoor community event, the park will be filled with balloons, clowns, music, entertainment, food, fun and more in honor of Vulcan's special day. Throughout the afternoon, a variety of activities will take place for visitors of all ages to enjoy.

Will Rogers Heritage Festival
Guntersville; June 5-8
This event will take place in venues all over the city. Enjoy the Farmers Market, performances of "Will Rogers Follies" by the Whole Backstage Theatre, antiques and collectibles fair, film festival, horse whisperer, aviation fair, food vendors, beauty pageant, live entertainment, walking tours, carriage rides, museum exhibit, Western show and parade, Cherokee Pow Wow, pony rides, pooch parade and more!

ALABAMA Fan Appreciation Weekend
Fort Payne; June 6-8
Call to confirm details. Benefit concert for John Croyle's Big Oak Ranch for Children on Friday, a celebrity golf tournament and a fan appreciation concert on Saturday, autographs and photos with fan club members on Sunday.

Hank Williams Festival
Georgiana; June 6-7
Join us June 6 & 7 for the 29th Annual Hank Williams Festival in Georgiana. A fun-filled weekend of country music, arts and crafts, food and drink. Plus some good old-fashioned fun! Performances by Brad Magness & The Flying Buffaloes, Elaine Petty, Shenandoah, T.G. Shepherd, Jett Williams, Aaron Tippin and more! The Hank Williams Festival is an outdoor event, sponsored by the Hank Williams Museum. There is no reserved seating. Bring your lawn chairs. No lounge chairs, coolers, food, drinks, or pets can be taken into the park. The festival is biker friendly.

"The Miracle Worker" Play
Tuscumbia; June 6-July 12
Now in its 47th year, this Broadway-style show recalls the childhood of deaf-blind Helen Keller, "America's First Lady of Courage," and her gifted teacher Anne Sullivan.

Saturday Walking Tours
Statewide; June 7, 14, 21 & 28
Saturday Walking Tours take place each Saturday in June at 10 a.m. and will last about one hour. Cities participating are Ashland, Athens, Birmingham, Boaz, Butler, Cullman, Dadeville, Decatur, Demopolis, Enterprise, Fairhope, Florence, Gadsden, Gilbertown, Guntersville, Hartselle, Huntsville, Madison, Mobile, Montevallo, Old Cahawba, Ozark, Prattville, Scottsboro, Selma, Sheffield, Tuscumbia and Wetumpka.

Alex City Jazz Fest, 18th Annual
Alexander City; June 13-14
Central Alabama's largest event. Previous headliners include Dickie Betts, Taj Mahal, Los Lonely Boys, Delbert McClinton, Amanda Shaw, The Radiators and Marsha Ball. Funded in part by local sponsors, the two-day event is free to the public. Friday night the event is held at Strand City Park on Tallapoosa Street, and the Saturday night event is held at the Lake Martin Amphitheater, hosted by Russell Lands.

Gulf Coast Hot-Air Balloon Festival, Fourth Annual
Foley; June 13-15
Some 45 hot-air balloons, arts and crafts, great Southern cuisine, live entertainment, children's village, motorcycle poker run, remote-controlled airplanes, helicopter rides and much more.

Alabama Sports Festival 26th Anniversary State Games
Birmingham; June 20-22
The Alabama Sports Festival is Alabama's Olympics. The Games are open to all residents of Alabama, from novice to elite abilities and youth to senior citizens. This is Alabama's largest multisport event with 20 sports being offered. The event includes an official opening ceremony with a Parade of Athletes, Oath to Athletes, Lighting the Cauldron and musical entertainment.

Wilcox Riverbank Festival
Camden; June 27-28
The weekend begins with a jazz concert, sponsored by the Wilcox Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday evening at the Roland Cooper State Park. Food prepared and sold by local area restaunts, folklife festival at Black Belt Treasures featuring area artists and craftsmen, music, etc. Also, ferry rides, games and more.
