FHWA 2009 Environmental Excellence Awards

These awards are "designed to recognize outstanding transportation projects, processes, and people who incorporate environmental stewardship into the planning and project development processes using FHWA funding sources." The awards are given in 12 categories, including a category for America's Byways®. Entries may be submitted by October 15, 2008 to the Division Administrator at the Federal Highway Administration Division Office in the State in which your entry is located.
