What a fascinating website about Alabama's past. This doesn't really have a lot to do with getting grants or with impacting the future of our communities directly, but the interesting collections of materials is worth a look by every Alabamian. And, if you are reading this and aren't from Alabama, perhaps you should see if your state has done something similar.

AlabamaMosaic is a repository of digital materials on Alabama's history, culture, places, and people. Its purpose is to make unique historical treasures from Alabama's archives, libraries, museums, and other repositories electronically accessible to Alabama residents and to students, researchers, and the general public in other states and countries.
