Alabama Community Leadership Development Network Conference
The 2009 Alabama Community Leadership Network (ACLN) Conference is scheduled for Oct. 6-7 at Auburn University. Notable keynote speakers include:
-Dr. David Bronner (CEO, Retirement Systems of Alabama)
-Kay Ivey (State Treasurer)
-Ron Sparks (Commissioner, Agriculture and Industries)
-Dr. David Wilson (Chancellor, University of Wisconsin Colleges and UW-Extension)
In addition to the keynote speakers, the ACLN Conference offers a variety of workshops such as starting a leadership program, starting a non-profit organization, engaging the youth in community development, grant writing, conducting a meeting, healthcare, voter registration, effective communication, strategic planning, constitutional reform, workforce development, social networking using facebook and twitter, and many more.
