Black Belt Treasures is a non-profit, dedicated to helping stimulate the economy in Alabama’s Black Belt region through the promotion of art and fine crafts. They have paid over $140,000 to artists and craftsmen for their products, and have had visitors from 36 states and 5 foreign countries. They offer arts education programming, such as the Folk Life Festival, along with art classes, children’s art camps and other demonstrations and exhibits.
