	The Alabama Cooperative Extension System, the land grant outreach arm of Alabama A&M and Auburn University, with Tuskegee University cooperating, provides: 1) technical and educational information to economic developers and leaders in forest dependent counties in preparing to develop, recruit and retain businesses and industries; 2) private landowner’s information on managing woodlands for timber and wildlife production; and 3) public education on public policy options for natural resource management.
