These symposia will address the need for responding volunteers to be familiar with their role as an ADPH Volunteer. Discipline related topics will be presented as well as an overview of some of the emergency response assets that ADPH currently has in its possession. The conference presentations will focus on the roles of a Nurse, Pharmacist, Social Worker, and an Amateur Radio Operator in the event of a disaster. Three symposia’s will be held throughout the state. CEUs will be offered to nurses, pharmacists, social workers, EMT and Paramedics. The symposia’s are free and are open to anyone who wishes to attend.
