The Decatur Historic Preservation Commission invites you to CAMP! This workshop is offered through the National Alliance of Preservation Commission’s Commission Assistance and Mentoring Program (CAMP) and is funded through a grant from the Alabama Historical Commission. Preservation fundamentals including legal issues, standards and guidelines, meeting procedures, design review and local planning issues will form the core of the training. Instructors for this event include Ken Kocher (Piedmont Preservation), Robin Zeigler (Metro Nashville/Davidson County Historic Zoning Commission) and Ramona Bartos (Deputy SHPO, North Carolina.) Please see attached bio sheet for CAMP counselors. Registration is limited for this event and will be made on a first come, first served basis. All CAMPS offer AIA and APA continuing education credits.
